Job Title:  Behavioral Health Clinician (Team Lead) – Rockdale Court Services

Pay Grade / info:  F

Salary Range:  $45-$55k/year based licensure and years of experience

Shift: 1st

Job Hours

  • Shift: Day (1st) may require availability for weekend and holiday shifts to meet the needs of the unit.
  • Monday through Friday.  May require on-call. 

 

Location:  Conyers, GA

Rockdale Court Services primarily serves as the treatment provider for the Rockdale County Accountability Court Programs. These programs include a Resource/Mental Health Court, Drug Court, DUI Court, and Family Treatment Court serving individuals who have primary mental health, substance use, or co-occurring conditions that have pending criminal charges. As a treatment provider, the Rockdale Court Services Teams provides access to resources, evidence based curriculum, and recommend/educate on treatment modalities to individuals served in the Accountability Court Programs.  

This program provides assessment, evaluation, case coordination, and referral information to the judiciary system, probation/parole officers, and other social service agencies. This program is totally funded by fees from individuals served.

Job Description:

Behavioral Health Clinician (Team Lead) – Rockdale Court Services

  • Providing day-to-day clinical and administrative leadership and oversight ensuring evidenced and outcome-based practices are utilized by clinical team.

  • Working closely with medical providers, other supervisors and  Front Office, accountability court staff to provide quality care and services to all clients
  • Attend court and staffing for DUI, Drug, and Family Treatment courts regularly
  • Ensure coverage for all DUI, Drug and Family Treatment court groups and fidelity to treatment court model and high quality of clinical care
  • Provide clinical services as a part of the Community Courts program
  • Training new staff members, evaluating  performance of clinical staff  & scheduling staff coverage
  • Assisting with interviews, recommending hires providing back up to Intake Team Lead and Director as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Requirements/Competencies:

  • Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, move about, hear and speak. 
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds
  • Must be able to respond quickly to sounds
  • Must have valid Georgia driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy
  • Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens
  • Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND Two years of related post-license experience OR Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND Two years of experience at the lower level Social Worker, Licensed 2 (HCP051) or position equivalent.

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

Experience working with the Severe and Persistently Mentally ill population, co-occurring population, and substance use population.

LAPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LPC

Training and experience in a variety of short term evidence-based treatment approaches

Previous supervisory experience

Knowledge of CareLogic

Experience working in a high stress, fast pace environment with multi-disciplinary teams including Judge, Attorneys, Probation Officers, and other court personnel.

Ability to multi-task and manage time
