Accounting Specialist/Accounts Payable Specialist

MP&F Strategic Communications is seeking an Accounting Specialist/Accounts Payable Specialist with a degree in accounting or related field to join our accounting department and report directly to our CFO.

Responsibilities include:

• Work directly with the Controller to help lead the company’s accounts payable function
• Manage company credit card spending
• Reconcile staff expense reporting
• Assign expenses to client bills from vendor invoices
• Track department expenses versus budget
• Prepare weekly cash reports
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
• Assist with monthly billing on an as needed basis
• Other ad hoc monthly and subcontract reporting
• Ensure that client letter of agreements are executed and on file
• Track paid media/advertising buys

This position reports directly to the Controller and CFO and is part of MP&F’s accounting department.
