G&A provides strategic services with a touch of disruptive creative execution. Our work delivers a harmony between technology, narrative, and physical design.We are seeking a dynamic Motion Designer who is as excited as we are about our work and about telling captivating stories.  

As a key contributor to our team you bridge interaction, motion, and visual design to help deliver the overall creative excellence of our interactive work products.This role requires you to have an understanding of emerging technologies, non-traditional interfaces, physical spaces, and a portfolio that illustrates an ability to bring visual excellence to generative, responsive, and other interactive experiences. 

As an expert talent, you will have the opportunity to work with our cross-geo and multi-disciplinary teams on a wide variety of projects and experience types.

Qualifications

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create story-driven motion design for physical and interactive experiences on the web, mobile, exhibits and large-scale installations. Motion graphics for web & video, 2D/3D animations, interactive  and digital experiences

  • Deliver design and 2D/3D animations for video and film production.

  • Directly contribute to the conceptual development of projects with the studio team

  • Create materials for proposals and new business responses

  • Work collaboratively with the technical and production team

  • Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables

  • Contribute to the culture and development of the studio

  • Balance visual design and UX

  • Build prototypes to illustrate ideas

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Four years of experience in a motion graphics-related position

  • A command of the craft of design, consistently achieving compelling aesthetic solutions

  • Strong knowledge of the design process in order to develop and deliver complex projects

  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.

  • Expert proficiency in relevant design programs: 

    • Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects are required

    • C4D, Unity, Unreal are desired 

    • Experience using Figma

  • The ability to generate and refine ideas into thoughtful, provocative concepts

  • The ability to articulate ideas both verbally and in writing clearly and concisely

  • The capacity to rapidly respond to feedback from the Creative Director 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, adeptly prioritizing tasks and effectively delegating responsibilities to ensure timely completion and adherence to project objectives.

  • Outstanding portfolio

  • Passion for design, technology, and art

  • Experience with projects that contain physical components is not required but preferred

Occasional travel to our hub locations or other company sites may be required for team meetings, training sessions, or special projects. However, such travel will be planned well in advance, and expenses will be covered by the company.
