RIVERSPORT is a nonprofit organization focused on outdoor recreation and adventures, Olympic sports including rowing and canoe/kayak, and creating opportunities for more people to get outside more often. The Guest Services Associate is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. Key priorities include greeting guests, assisting them with information about Boathouse programs, and addressing concerns in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Reports directly to the OKC RIVERSPORT Guest Services Manager.

  • Provide customer engagement in positive and approachable manner.
  • Support all areas including Retail, Rentals, Ticket Sells, Birthday Parties, Food & Beverage, and Membership Sales
  • Answers incoming phone calls and promptly assist callers.
  • Provide information to guest about facilities, programs, entertainment options, and costs.
  • Handle various guest concerns, compliments, and suggestions in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area.
  • Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system.
  • Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • General housekeeping duties may include, but is not limited to: cleaning restrooms, sweeping/mopping floors, and restocking

Qualifications

•              Ability to work flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

•              Must be at least 16 years of age

•              CPR, AED, First Aid certified (will provide training if necessary)

•              Demonstrate ability to provide a high standard of professionalism and strong customer service skills

•              Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy environment

•              Basic math skills

•              Excellent written & verbal communication skills

•              Excellent phone etiquette

 

Physical Requirements:

 

•              Able to perform work duties outside in varying weather conditions prevalent at the time.

•              Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

•              Must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
