JOB SUMMARY:  The primary purpose is to ensure smooth and effective functioning of training, community events, and special projects. Employee will collaborate with the HR Supervisor and Market Managers on events and projects to fulfill the overall vision of the bank. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•    Organize, develop, promote, engage, recruit, and track volunteer opportunities and hours for appropriate employees
•    Organize, develop, promote, and track community service events
•    Maintain relationships with community partners and cultivates new partnerships
•    Track and help foresee all aspects of Duncan Fundraising Committees and events such as United Way and Relay for Life
•    Communicate and coordinate all bank community events with Market/Branch Managers at each location
•    Assist Branch Managers in organizing and promoting of their local community events
•    Attend relevant community events and meetings
•    Conduct research and offer recommendations about community involvement opportunities and needs
•    Manage all aspects of the Years of Service Program including organization and communication
•    Manage all aspects of the Job Shadowing Program including organization, tracking, and communication
•    Double check documents that are scanned into Synergy
•    Responsible for updating information on FB&T Intranet webpages: Training & Development and Community, as well as monitor other pages as needed
•    Manage budget for training and community events
•    Setup/cleanup of events (Fun Committee, Community, Trainings, Meetings, etc.)
•    Coordinate internal/external events, special projects or activities, as directed
•    Post event information and pictures on social media to engage and connect with the community. Spotlight employees volunteering in action. All post must be timely and grammatically correct  
•    Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
•    Market available training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information
•    Responsible for facilitating aspects of employee training sessions such as providing lunch, bank wide communication, sign in sheets, tracking attendance, room reservations, and set up/clean up, etc.
•    Effectively work and cooperate with supervisor, co-workers and customers
•    Be a positive role model of First Bank & Trust Co. Culture, Core Values and Expectations
•    Follow the direction of the supervisor


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Perform other duties and projects as required by Management.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
•    High School diploma or equivalent.
•    2+ Years’ experience in an administrative, organizational, and/or events coordinating preferred
•    Able to communicate effectively, at all levels of an organization, both written and orally
•    Proficient computer, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, 10 key, and typing skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
•    Strong project management, customer service and relationship building skills.
•    Strong written and verbal communication, able to deliver clear, concise information tailored to specific and varied audiences.
•    Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized, ensuring quality and consistent output.

•    Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude and work independently with little guidance in a fast-paced, changing environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•    Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
•    Frequent lifting, pulling, or pushing (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
•    Driving to outside locations and other sites as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
•    Normal office environment.
•    Traveling to outlying locations as needed.
•    Most activities also require the use of a computer keyboard and screen.  Other activities include the ability to reach such as in filing and to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 25 pounds such as files, etc.
