Technician II

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician, with GM Certifications/ASE Certification, to join our team in the automotive industry. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our vehicles and providing top-notch customer service. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
• Diagnose and identify issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and identify potential problems
• Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance to customers
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure they are running smoothly and safe

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Proven experience as a Service Technician in the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
• ASE certification is a plus
