Claims Submission Team Lead


The Claims Submission Team Lead will assist the Revenue Cycle Manager to ensure claims are submitted timely and accurately. The position is responsible for the quality control of the entire claim submission team. Responsibilities include but not limited to claims submission and tracking, manage TIN transition process and tracking team productivity.


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Understanding and staying informed of the changes with procedures and billing guidelines for specific insurance carriers or payers.
  2. Manage TIN Transition spreadsheet to submit and track test claims.
  3. Track unbilled claim count and reasons.
  4. Reconcile claims billed and unbilled for newly onboarded providers.
  5. Learn and bill from new billing software as needed for new provider acquisitions.
  6. Track billing teams individual productivity.
  7. Submit claims for Team Leads own assigned sites.
  8. Send inquiries to coding team or office managers for missing information.



  1. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  2. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  3. Great attention to details.


Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.


Work Experience: 1-3 years experience in a professional healthcare setting required.
Knowledge of medical billing required.
