  • Retail Bloom is looking for a Talent Acquisition & Engagement Specialist who will attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, search firms and other sourcing methods. Develop job advertisements and screen resumes/applications.  Contact candidates to ascertain fit, and schedule interviews, extend offers and negotiate compensation. Initiates onboarding plan for new hires and ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively.  Establish Retail Bloom as the employer of choice by implementing employee engagement strategies.  Promote Retail Bloom culture, values, and brand by creating an exceptional and inclusive employee experience.


  • Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies
  • Post staffing needs with internal and external sources
  • Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to promote Retail Bloom
  • Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies through LinkedIn & in house ATS Paycom
  • Contact colleges and various other groups regarding employment opportunities
  • Develop relationships with other firm recruiters to share leads and best practices
  • Coordinate and attend recruiting events including initial contact, ad development, ad placement, candidate tracking and follow-up with leads
  • Specific selection processes accountability to include but not limited to
    • Review candidates
    • Screening candidates
    • Conducting initial interviews
    • Administering selection tools and guide candidates through the selection process
  • Implement internship program and coordinate internship opportunities with school partners 
  • Effectively communicate with candidates
  • Report weekly recruiting activities to Administrative Manager
  • Assist HR in administering onboarding activities
  • Conduct employment verifications, reference checks and employment screenings
  • Maintain company job descriptions and job postings
  • Yearly compensation analysis for current positions
  • Ensure that Retail Bloom’s recruitment activities and processes are compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations
  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans for employee engagement
  • Ensure retention and engagement strategies are put into practice efficiently and effectively
  • Use employee survey data to assess engagement, enhance processes and develop action plans
  • Organize virtual and in-person events to promote employee engagement to help employees feel connected
  • Organize and coordinate periodic management in-person events and meetings
  • Conduct periodic pulse surveys and use data to help provide insights into potential turnover




  • Bachelor’s degree or 2-3 years related experience
