Recovery Network of Programs, Inc. (RNP), is a private, non-profit, social service agency which has been serving the Greater Bridgeport Community and Fairfield County area since 1972. RNP is dedicated to helping those living with substance use, mental health disorders, and homelessness. Our mission is to restore hope, health, and wellbeing for individuals and families in a recovery environment that embraces compassion, dignity and respect.

 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of all the Organization's marketing strategies, marketing communications, and many of the public relations activities, both external and internal. Responsibilities also include supporting administrative tasks and optimizing digital marketing initiatives. The Marketing Manager will develop and execute organic social and influencer marketing campaigns and developing program collateral to maximize awareness for RNP. The Marketing Manager will also work with our digital and advertising partners to create successful branding campaigns.

 

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30am flexibility and some evening/weekend availability may be required

 

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 Based on experience

 

Responsibilities:

  • Defines the creative vision for all brand, advertising campaigns, and marketing messages to build brand awareness.
  • Cultivates all brand, advertising campaigns, and marketing messages to build brand awareness.
  • Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Identifies new market segments that will benefit from the agency’s programs. Identifies potential customers.
  • Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
  • Develop and optimize organic social media content driven by a deep understanding of the agency’s programs. Support the creation and implementation of strong social content calendar.
  • Maintains knowledge on emerging services.
  • Collaborates with the executive team to develop growth plans for the organization.
  • Responsible for supporting administrative tasks and optimizing digital marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and program collateral to maximize awareness for Recovery Network and its programs of care.
  • Provide overall support to RNP for marketing initiatives and assist our CEO with strategic analytics and project management or administrative tasks.
  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials across several platforms.
  • Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics pertaining to trade shows, webinars, and referral events, as well as internal marketing meetings.
  • Works closely with CFO to oversee Marketing budget and tracking expenses for that budget
  • Works closely with RNP Outreach team.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, Communication, or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of Marketing and or Advertising experience in a medical, psychiatric, or healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Experience with creative content and branding development.
  • Experience with marketing tools and systems to implement campaigns and tracking.

  • Intimate understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines.
  • Thorough understanding of internet marketing and general marketing strategies.
  • Social Media savvy with ability to create and implement relevant content on all platforms.
  • Experience with a variety of software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, etc.
  • Competent in Website development with experience using Wordpress.
  • Knowledge of internal communications platforms.
  • Ability to work with executives and other creative leaders to set project deadlines and content goals.
  • Ability to conduct and correctly interpret research and web analytics.
