DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating and maintaining data pipeline architecture
  • Processing and optimizing data delivery between databases and Tableau
  • Creating expansive reports in Tableau based on measurement strategy and business drivers and presenting results to key stakeholders
  • Developing data collection best practices including UTM parameters, proxy data points and ad-naming protocols
  • Monitoring and maintaining Tableau user group permissions and dashboard delivery for online portal
  • Optimizing current dashboards and visualizations through continual improvements as needed
  • Managing and working with SQL and Tableau vendors to help augment the team skill set and capacity
  • Performing other related duties as assigned, including special projects
  • Adhering to Koch Comm company values and contribute to a culture of professional standards

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must be a strong presenter and communicator so that you can clearly articulate the story a report tells
  • Must be highly accountable to clear and transparent data practices and meeting deadlines and commitments
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure a high level of data integrity
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally with teammates, as well as externally with clients and vendors.
  • Google Analytics certification completion within 90 days (if not already obtained)
  • Tableau Specialist Desktop Certification within 90 days; Tableau Certified Associate Certification within six months; Tableau Certified Professional within one year
  • Strong ability to display data design best practices through Tableau
  • Strong analytical skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
  • Experience in Snowflake, FiveTran and Google Tag Manager are a plus, but not required
