SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible for aftermarket parts, service and rebuild sales growth and building customer relationships through excellent account management skills, customer service, suggestive selling, and technical knowhow.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Daily interaction with large customer base on contractual and transactional business.
• Maximizes the opportunity to build relationships with previously assigned or new customers through response to request for quotation, technical inquiries, and product solutions with the goal of winning business and maximizing aftermarket parts and service profitability.

• Convert customer problems into solution sales opportunities.
• Become a functional expert in M.A.S.S (Muratec Aftermarket Service and Support) managing relationships internally and externally by way of Regional Sales Managers, Partner Dealers, Customer Service Reps, and Field Service Engineers for both turning and fabrication customers

• Recommend machine tools and accessory equipment to potential buyers.  

• Maintain call logs of inbound and outbound calls managed in Salesforce.

• Suggest aftermarket parts, services, and MSPs to current customers.

• Quotes rebuild parts and labor by way of Japanese support.      

• Report sales opportunities by way of Salesforce.  

• Assist and advise in matters involving machine application, tooling, and estimating. 
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners, including but not limited to account managers, credit center, inventory managers and an extensive dealer network.
• Understanding KPI goals and concepts of our business and incorporating business goals to achieve sales and profitability.

• Actively promote Muratec products on social media platforms.

• Participate in trades shows, presentations, open houses, and customer visits, all of which may require some limited travel  

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year technical school; Bachelor's Degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in a Technical or Business Field, is preferred; minimum of three to five years of sales experience in machine tool, industrial, or capital equipment sales; or equivalent combination of experience and education.

OTHER SKILLS

• Salesforce/CRM experience is preferred.
• Machine Tool Division experience and knowledge preferred especially in turning machines, turret punch presses, fiber lasers, and automation.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints/drawings.
• Strong math aptitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Aggressive, competitive and self-motivated.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills especially utilizing the telephone and email.
• Detail oriented, organized and can multi-task
• Ability to work well individually or while working with a team.

TRAVEL 

Travel up to 30% is required for this position, including overnight and possible international travel. Clean driving record is a requirement.
