Must be 18 years of age or older.

Candidate Firefighter Process (Required for All Successful Applicants) Applicant Requirements-

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Texas Drivers License
  • Completed Physical - click here to download form
  • Attendance of at least 1 Information session

Volunteer Program

  • First Aid CPR
  • Academy begins May 14, 2024
  • 6 months of lectures and skills (Tuesday evening & Saturdays)

Tuesday classes are held at 7pm

Saturday skills begin at 8am

  • Attain State Firefighters and Fire Marshals Association of Texas (SFFMA) Firefighter 1 certification by passing written exams
