Location:  Lewiston; 1 RiverSide Drive, Lewiston, MN 55952
Remote Work:  This position is required to work onsite every day for the first 90-days.  After 90-days, this position can work remote 1 day of each work week.  4 days of each work week is required to work onsite at the Lewiston facility.  
Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day between the hours of 7:00am-5:00pm 
Position Status: Full-Time

The Team: 
This role is a part of the Human Resource team. The team works with and supports all other departments in the organization including the full network of companies: RiverSide Integrated Solutions (RIS), JMW Enterprises, and CCSI.  Our team currently consists of an HR Manager, Senior HR Generalist and HR and Payroll Administrator. 

The Role: 
This co-worker will join the Human Resource team providing support to co-workers. Effectiveness in this role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with solid judgment. The applicant must possess self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive disposition toward the job, the company, and coworkers.

 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

You will spend your time:

  • Processes biweekly payroll for 350 coworkers (non-exempt & exempt) via HRIS system (Paycom)

  • Maintain payroll data by ensuring hours worked are recorded properly for payroll processing

  • Resolves payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll inquiries

  • Oversees employment verification, unemployment audits, wage garnishments/levies

  • Conduct regular compensation audits

  • Administers day to day activities of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending plan, 401(k) plan and retirement plan)

  • Assists with 401k plan management and contributions

  • Educates employees on benefit eligibility and benefits per plan documents

  • Audits benefit enrollment elections and deductions on a regular basis 

  • Assists with benefit compliance and regularly reviewing benefit offerings

  • Conducts new co-worker benefit orientation

  • Administers FMLA and company leave polices 

  • Administers workers compensation claims and communicates with third party administrator to manage claims 

  • Assists with year end reporting 

  • Processes W-2 forms for employees at the end of each calendar year

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (with an emphasis in Excel) and data entry

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associates degree preferred and or knowledge and understanding of HR, Benefits and Payroll processes

    • Knowledgeable of Federal, State, and local wage and hour policies and employment tax laws

    • Experience presenting benefits and creating open enrollment plans and procedures

    • Experience navigating HRIS systems 

Travel:

  • This position will travel between the RiverSide Lewiston and Winona facilities. 

  • Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be required. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling 

  • Lifting up to 10 pounds
