We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team and help ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations of our company. The Operations Specialist will take on assignments across multiple areas to organize, plan, and execute duties related to managing the physical space and facilities at Integral. They will coordinate with the Lab Manager, office management staff, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of company facilities with a focus on non-lab physical space
  • Coordinate and oversee long range facilities and physical space planning with emphasis on logistics and project management
  • Lead the Integral Safety Team by understanding regulatory requirements and coordinate activities of the overall safety program with input from scientific advisors
  • Coordinate general maintenance with property management and external vendors
  • Interact and serve as main contact with contractors, vendors, consultants and third-party visitors to coordinate services while ensuring compliance with insurance and safety best practices and documentation
  • Maintain documents and logs related to building and suite access, resolve access related concerns and audit records annually
  • Maintain all support systems and processes including procurement, ordering, supply and inventory management
  • Coordinate recommendations for the selection of equipment and large dollar purchases including planning for delivery and installation
  • Work across the company to identify strategic purchases and provide regular status updates
  • Manage off-site supply storage and coordinate pickups/deliveries/transfers from those locations
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all sub-tenant communication
  • Assist in shipping operations quality control


  • At least 5 years’ work experience in business operations, administration, administrative support, or project management or Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related major (1-2 years’ work experience)
  • Academic background in science is a plus
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Good judgement and sound decision-making with excellent attention to detail
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in Biotech industry not required, but a plus
