Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of Excel and experience with ERP system.
- Written and spoken English.
- Precise and rigorous with good analytical and communication skills.
- Organized, autonomous and committed.
- Belgium based position.
Job Summary:
As part of a team of 3 accountants and under supervision of the chief accountant, you will perform the following tasks for the European business.
Job Duties:
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of the order to cash cycle (Invoicing, Collection…).
- Be the point of contact for the business for all customer related matters.
- Be in charge of financials for e-Commerce.
- Contribute to the VAT and tax returns submission.
- Be the right hand of the chief accountant for various G/L and closing activities.
- Support the junior accountant.
- Be a key player in the finance transformation projects (Automation, Digitalization).
- Maintain sanitary and safe work environment.
- Follow safety requirements.
- May actively participate on company’s Safety Committee.
- Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.
- Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP that pertain to their department, to ensure quality, safety, efficiency and sustainability.
- Must adhere to all company policies.
- Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
- Follow all SOPs in each area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.
