Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the full Human Resources cycle including employee relations, recruiting, on-boarding, mentoring, training, performance management, and safety.
  • Support organizational initiatives and projects
  • Provide guidance to employees and leadership to ensure that policies and processes are administered consistently
  • Assist in the development of personnel policies and procedures
  • Conduct investigations in employee and customer situations, including but not limited to, harassment, discrimination, and violation of company policies
  • Facilitate employee relations issues as needed; provide coaching and conflict resolution to managers and employees
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives
  • Create and maintain job descriptions
  • Record and manage employee information such as, but not limited to, personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance evaluations and termination information
  • Compile data and key performance metrics; develop reports and presentations
  • Stay current with local, state and Federal HR laws, legislation, and trends, and maintain compliance
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of HR experience; or PHR/SPHR and five years of HR experience
  • Must be detail-oriented, possess a high degree of accuracy, and work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment law and regulations
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills and an ability to work independently
