Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (social work, counseling, psychology, or related field) or equivalent experience in human services field.
Experience:
- Experience working with at-risk populations is required. Familiarity with the military and veteran population and related services is preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience providing case management is required.
- Work requires general and specific knowledge of suicide prevention, veterans’ services, and case management.
- Experience providing outreach and engagement is required.
- Transitioning service members, veterans, and spouses encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to manage multiple tasks while working effectively as a team player. Must have strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills. Skilled worker in motivational interviewing and ability to meet clients where they are and move them quickly to community resources. Provide excellent customer service to those seeking assistance. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Teams, and other technology platforms. Proficient with data collection and reporting procedures.

Effectively interact and work collaboratively in a flexible work environment with a variety of constituents including CEO, board members, clients, family members, caretakers, interns, volunteers, paid staff, and community partners. Ability to express ideas with clarity, confidence, and sensitivity. Must be able to maintain confidentiality involving clients in accordance with organizational and federal guidelines.
