JOB DESCRIPTION:

Overview:

A Brand Manager is someone who is passionate about organizing events, building a stronger & more diverse community at Sender One, and leading and empowering a team across multiple locations. A Brand Manager embodies the Sender One core values, is proactive, self-motivated, solution driven, and delivers outstanding customer experiences to guests, members, brand partners, sponsors and collaborators.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, train, and develop a team Brand Supervisors.  Motivating, inspiring, and fostering their skill development while providing guidance and support.
  • Lead Brand Supervisor check-ins, monthly meetings, development plans, and dashboard metrics.      
  • Develop and maintain programs that align with our company’s core values and purpose, specifically expanding on our Sender One Cares program;
  • Connect, build, and maintain relationships with partners, vendors and non-profit organizations;
  • Oversee gym level community events & meetups by setting clear expectations and working closely with gym Brand Supervisors;
  • Plan, organize, and oversee large scale events from conception to event recap;
  • Track and monitor event success through attendance, budget, and survey responses; 
  • Maintain brand image & cohesion within the gyms, including ensuring promotional material and visual displays are up to date and well presented;
  • Implement strategy, editing and posting of the Sender One blog, utilizing contributing authors;
  • Implement strategy and execution of the Sender One social media account, as well as the gym social media accounts through the Brand Supervisors;
  • Support the marketing department in organizing company wide sales events.

Industry Experience:

  • Excellent customer facing experience and skills;
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a relatable and friendly tone;
  • Strong knowledge of the climbing industry;
  • Proficiency in Google Suite – Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.;
  • Proficiency in Rock Gym Pro (RGP);
  • Understands key marketing and brand strategies;
  • Knowledge of up to date digital marketing trends;
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok);
  • Knowledge of Canva and Wordpress;
  • Skills in photography and/or videography a plus;
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience a plus.

Time Commitment:

  • Must be able to work 35 - 40 hours per work week
  • Must be able to attend a weekly marketing meeting each week;
  • Must be able to lead a weekly Brand Supervisor meeting each week;
  • Must be available some weekends and weekday evenings for outreach and events;
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between gym locations.
  • Starting Compensation: $25 / Hour
