General Role and Function:

The Facilities Lead for Technology Integration position will support all aspects of technology infrastructure on campus. While possessing a general understanding of IT systems, this position will often serve as a liaison between users, external IT support, and the Director of Facilities & Property Management. This position will continuously collaborate with other team members to ensure the seamless operation of facilities and contribute to the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the campus. This position will support multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for the recently constructed $23 million campus, including a commercial kitchen, Alzheimer’s activity center, and support offices, along with landscape and parking areas. The support will ensure the campus meets the needs of the organization. The Facilities Lead – Technology Integration will support repair and preventative maintenance of the facility, grounds, and equipment while focusing on technology needs throughout the organization.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support technology-related service requests and coordinate with external IT, Director of Facilities & Property Management and the end user.
  • Track and prioritize job tickets, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Assist with the implementation of facility management best practices.
  • Continuous collaboration with facilities staff to address crossover duties and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Support staff training initiatives related to technology use and best practices.
  • Support Facilities team ensuring the campus is clean and maintained according to organizational policy and procedures.
  • Support equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Support equipment and supply needs, including furniture, kitchen equipment, janitorial supplies, and climate control.
  • Support moves, add-ons, and changes to activities.
  • Coordinate work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors, along with leadership.
  • Support proper implementation of security and emergency preparedness procedures.
  • Communicate workplace safety precautions to staff members.
  • Support building evacuation and other action plans.
  • Recommend services for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
  • React, solve, track, and ensure completion of work orders.
  • Support forecasting operations, technology, and maintenance expenditures.
  • Implement facility and technology management best practices.
  • Ready to deliver meals when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.   

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in facility management, general management, or IT support roles beneficial.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology trends and requirements.
  • Commitment to promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Understanding of maintenance planning, schedules, building safety regulations and security protocols.
  • Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies.
  • Passion for learning and staying up to date on industry trends.
  • Must have reliable, personal vehicle and a valid Driver’s License, good driving record, and applicable insurance coverage required by the company policy.

Physical requirements:

  • Requires weekend and evening availability, when necessary.
  • Vision to read printed materials and computer screen.
  • Able to work at a desk and computer screen for extended periods of time; anticipated that the person may spend several hours of each day seated at a computer.
  • Ability to work in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and diverse employee population.
  • Able to occasionally lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds to move office supplies or other equipment.
