Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees.
- Must be able to comprehend, prioritize, and perform duties using established work procedures with minimal supervision.
- Must be proficient in MS Word and note taking.
- Must understand the basic clinical nature of the MFLC role and be able to complete interviews in a timely manner.
- Must be flexible and able to respond quickly to last-minute needs.
Education and Work Experience
- Must be a licensed professional counselor.
- A master’s degree or higher from an accredited graduate program in a mental health related field such as social work, psychology, marriage/family therapy or counseling is required.
