This position allows remote reporting three days per week with two required days of onsite reporting.

Summary:
The Elementary Coding and Technology Teacher will focus on the academic achievement of students by utilizing a variety of web-based educational tools and interactive online classroom sessions. This position is responsible for maintaining positive relationships and communications with students and families.
Essential Duties:

Prepare and deliver instruction to students aligned to the PA Standards and Common Core Curriculum

Design, deliver, and assess online learning content.

Provide ongoing communication with students and parents pertaining to progress, assignment completion, and attendance.

Deliver live instruction during virtual class sessions and office hours, including whole-class as well as individual and small group settings.

Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Principal.

Utilize EdInsight to conduct an ongoing analysis of student achievement and assessments. Maintain updated records in EdInsight pertaining to the progress of the students.

Proctor standardized testing. Limited overnight travel may be required during the testing period (1-2 times per academic year).
