Contour is a long-established aviation services company with diverse capabilities including scheduled airline operations, Part 91/135 aircraft management, on- demand charter, an aircraft sales division, three Fixed-Base Operations, a FAR Part 145/EASA certified aircraft maintenance facility providing airframe maintenance, avionics installations/repairs, and component overhaul services, and a FAR 141 pilot and maintenance training operation. Summary of Essential Duties

  • Interact with our service provider, ground handling staff, and management.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for ticket counter, gate, baggage, and ramp-handling support person.
  • Oversees vendor performance.
  • Ensure Contours reporting and compliance standards are met.
  • Represent Contour at all airports, government, and company meetings.
  • Ensure service expectations through training and mentoring of vendor leadership teams.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of policies and processes pertaining to law enforcement officers, hazardous materials, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Interface with and communicate with passengers, agents, flight crews and vendors as needed.
  • Responsible for always maintaining the safety and security of the ramp.
  • Observe safe ground-handling procedures and maintenance of ground service equipment, including the performance of equipment checks.
  • Comply with all safety procedures, airline policies, and Company standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in ramp set up and storage of equipment and baggage, ensure and maintain the integrity of a safe operation.
  • Promptly communicate any event or challenges involving the local operation with management and/or the Systems Operations Control Center.
  • Respond to and take proactive measures to minimize and assist irregular operations and customer inconvenience.
  • Completing required reports and audits to satisfy Company and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigating and analyzing problems [e.g., damage to ground service equipment or aircraft, Letters of investigation (LOIs)]. With respect to a finding, formulate a response and possible corrective action.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 23 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Prior aviation experience or aviation related education a plus.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
  • Must understand, read, and write English.
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to handle interruptions and a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated and able to motivate others.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism.
  • Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests.
  • Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • Able to lift 75 lbs. routinely with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
