General Qualifications
The Lone Star Lights Event staff must be a mature follower of Jesus, still growing and developing in his/her
faith. He/she must be fully in accordance with Carolina Creek Christian Camps (Carolina Creek) mission
statement, and statement of beliefs; committed to living these out personally, and instilling them in the
organization. He/she must be of strong moral character and integrity. Must be able to fulfill all job
responsibilities and physical demands, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Position Objective
The Lone Star Lights Event Team members will work various positions to include but not limited to wait staff,
adventure and activities, cleaning, snow zone, retail, parking attendant, etc. to create a positive, memorable
experience for Lone Star Lights guests.

Job Type

  • Seasonal part-time

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Prep and set up all themed areas
  • Supervise the designated areas
  • Responsible to uphold all procedures and protocol for the area
  • Maintain safety in your designated area
  • Engage with guests and support guest relations
  • Assist in park cleanliness throughout your shift
  • Attend all required staff meetings, trainings, and events
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the broader camp programs of CCCC
  • Actively engage and participate in the staff community through a godly attitude, words, and actions

Pay Rate
$60 per day plus lodging and meals available the day of your shift

This position begins on November 14th and runs through December 22 with the option to stay as long as
January 13th.


  • 18 years of age or older is required
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • A current valid driver's license is preferred

Work Experience

  • Prior experience working events, customer service, or hospitality preferred

  • Must be a team player, and willing to work in all types of weather
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be proactive
  • Must be able to follow instructions well
  • Must be flexible with an ability to adjust and problem solve in challenging situations

Physical Demands:
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in all weather conditions
and temperatures. Requires sitting, standing, squatting, stooping, twisting, ability to lift/carry objects from 15
to over 50 lbs.
