Social Media Videographer

Summary:

Answers in Genesis is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending) ministry dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim thegospel of Jesus Christeffectively.

The Marketing Team aids in this mission by using a wide range of channels and tactics to strategically reach people with the gospel and faith-affirming resources. As the Social Media Videographer, you will help produce videos and live streams for a wide variety of social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok as well as the AiG website. Whether planning a shoot, recording footage, or editing a project, your creative eye and project completion skills will play an essential role in reaching people with the truth of God’s Word.

Goals:

• Create and edit short-form and long-form videos for a variety of platforms.
• Evaluate tools and video performance to improve quality and efficiency of video production.
• Plan and coordinate video projects through from start to finish, collaborating with other departments and team members.

Skills Needed:

• 2+ years of professional social media, live streaming, or videography experience
• Deep knowledge of video production and social media
• Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Passion for learning and growing
• Self-motivated and results-driven
• Travel regularly between our HQ, Creation Museum and Ark Encounter
• Help our team cover several weekend events each year, supporting live stream events and rapid content edits as needed
• Ability to write video scripts and social media copy (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
