Substitute Teacher

St. Pius X Catholic School is seeking a substitute teacher for all grade levels (PreK to grade 12). 

RESPONSIBILITES:

• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
• Highly organized with project management skills and drive to meet the organizational objectives
• Creative thinker with strategic planning skills and a commitment to Catholic education

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successful teaching experience
• Effective classroom management
• Inspires student learning; has sincere love of teaching and learning
• Collaborative and collegial

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Texas driver’s license
• Submit to required employment screenings: criminal background check and drug screening
• Obtain certification in Safe Environment training provided by the Office of Safe Environment and Child and Family Resources
• Position requires adherence to diocesan policies and procedures
