Job Summary: Responsible for guiding hearts, minds and souls of St. Mary Catholic School Students toward Our Lord through the teaching of Art.
Rate of Pay: $12,500 – $55,000 Salary/year per the AoD Teacher Pay Scale
Benefits: Part-time employees are not offered benefits other than what is required by law; Worker’s Compensation, FMLA unpaid leave, CO HFWA: 1 Hour of Sick Time per 30 hours worked
Normal Working Hours: 12-25 Hours per Week during the school year. Schedule of days to be determined.
Reports to: The Pastor, the Principal, and their representatives
Duties:
- Teach, lead, and guide St. Mary School Students to Our Lord through the subject of Art
- Prepare Lesson plans designed to implement stated goals
- Collaborate with colleagues to establish student performance expectations that are clear and consistent
- Maintain an efficient, functional and pleasant leaning environment that sets a high standard of behavior and is consistent and fair to all students
- Support and enforce school-wide policies and rules
- Effectively and respectfully communicate and maintain a positive relationship with parents, students, the Parish community, the principal, and other staff members
- Model an attitude of service
- Be timely with reporting of grades and incidents
- Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor or Principal
