PURPOSE
Supervise all Clients enrolled in programs.

Physical Demands
- Sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time
- Reaching, handling, communicating, using near vison/visual depth perception
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 150 lbs
- Must be able to push/pull respectively up to 80 lbs
Work Environment
- Subject to constant interruptions
- Toileting assistance required
- Regular trips out in the community
- Exposed to antisocial behavior and to various types of pathogens
- Must be able to perform duties from home when circumstances are unavoidable
COVID Regulations
- In accordance to State Licensing requirements, all program staff must provide proof of vaccination or provide a religious or medical exemption
- Exempt employees are required to be tested routinely
- Additional testing for all employees may be required but is subject to change depending upon circumstances
ACTIVITIES
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am- 2:30pm
- Regular attendance and punctuality are expected of all employees.
- Travel: as needed between facilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Supervise clients
- Maintain and complete accurate daily documentation and reports
- Coordinating with Lead Aide to discuss concerns, behaviors, and goals
- Maintain a professional, positive work environment
- Attend training and meetings as scheduled
- Distribute client medication
- Follow all safety procedures
- Report safety concerns and issues immediately to Supervisor
- Greet clients as they arrive/depart and recording attendance, arrival and departure
- Assist staff in client behaviors
- Assist in client medical emergencies
- Assist clients in toileting and menstrual and other care as needed
- Assist Lead Aide in creating and implementing the daily schedule in accordance with the calendar
- Prepare for assigned activities for the day
- Participate in morning meeting with Program Lead to go over daily activities
- Instruct clients in the performance of work, life skills, job skills training and interpersonal skills development and record progress in meeting goals
- Provide input for monthly calendar
- Participate in community outings
- Create a list of supplies needed for daily activities for the Lead Aide to request
- Participate monthly drills
- Train new staff on working with the clients, daily activities, toileting assistance, how to handle client behaviors and medical emergencies
