Description

SUMMARY

This is a unique position focused on customer satisfaction and interdepartmental communication. The Passenger Coordinator will assist customers in the passenger boarding area while maintaining a high degree of fun, safety and professionalism.

The Passenger Coordinator works closely with the Customer Service Representative and Guides to ensure a smooth transition for customers and address any issues that arise while assisting with tour departures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and organize customers in the passenger boarding area 10-15 minutes prior to tour departures; help put customers at ease in anticipation of their tour
  • Provide directions to restroom facilities and offer suggestions of tour necessities that they should acquire
  • Answer customer questions and address any concerns to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain communication with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and Guides to address issues, such as parties in the boarding area that have not checked in, have not paid, or are missing and/or late
  • Assist Guides with tour preparation (car seats, water, blankets, etc.)
  • Assure that all customers have boarded the appropriate Jeep and that no one is left in the boarding area after Jeeps have departed
  • Provide traffic control for pedestrians crossing the driveway and assuring Jeeps exit safely
  • Serve as first-line defense for all issues relating to passenger boarding
  • Maintain sidewalk presence in order to assist and direct customers throughout the different areas of the Plaza (reservations office, merchandise store)
  • Perform hourly checks of the grounds, public facilities, Ramada and Plaza area; provide general cleaning of reservations office and outside public areas to ensure positive customer impression
  • Clean public restrooms in cases of emergency messes or plumbing issues
  • Order supplies and maintain stocking levels for the kitchen, restroom and cleaning supplies
  • Assist with snow removal in the winter and salting the sidewalks and stairs as necessary. Sweep up crystals after melt

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires mobility including walking, squat, bend, walk up and down stairs throughout the day. climbing, sitting while driving, and assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle as necessary. Some of the duties also require pushing, pulling, reaching, and stacking items up to 40 lbs. and lift up to 25 lbs. overhead.
