Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Collects, organizes and analyzes information through records, interviews, tests and professional sources to diagnose mental, emotional, behavioral and/or educational difficulties and disabilities. Reviews and summarizes reports, administers tests, interviews individuals, families and providers.
  2. Makes written diagnoses and treatment recommendations. Consults with individuals and families on service issues.
  3. Participates in multidisciplinary staffing, may represent the center staff in school or marketing events
  4. Monitors referrals to other psychological and therapy service providers and monitors quality of services provided
  5. Prepares statistical and other required reports.
  6. Maintain current knowledge in specialty area, including the latest literature, criteria and evidence-based clinical practice.
  7. Demonstrate the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate clinical rationales.
  8. Comply with all the procedures and instructions provided, including due dates and time.

Education/ Certification:  Possess independent Behavioral Health licensure in Arkansas as a Licensed Psychological Examiner Independent (LPE-I),

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two years of professional experience providing testing, diagnostic evaluation, service recommendation, and consultation to people with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities or emotional disturbances

Skills/ Abilities:

  • Experience working with individuals with and array of mental health diagnoses
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Independent and fast learner with computers and software 
  • Exceptional professional, interpersonal, social, organizational, and communication (written and vocal) skills
  • Works effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable, positive, enthusiastic, flexible, hard-working
  • Must have regular access to a reliable vehicle
  • Background check required
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
