Job Summary:

Carolina Country Club, in the heart of Raleigh, is seeking part-time bartenders for our dining and banquet facilities.

We are seeking outgoing and friendly individuals who are interested in connecting with our members and their guests in a relaxing, enjoyable, family-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have some previous bartending experience. If you like to meet new people, be of service and build friendly, professional relationships, this job is for you!

You must be able to work varied shifts to include, weekends, Holidays, AM/PM shifts.

 

Job Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for the for set-up, maintenance and operation of the bar which may be in the various dining & banquet facilities, in addition to providing platinum level service and enhancing the member and guest experience. This position will ensure that state and local laws and the clubs policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed. Bartenders will seek opportunities to create a welcoming atmosphere, anticipate member needs, build rapport with members and deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing, Energetic, Motivated individual
  • Multitasking, flexibility, and prioritizing are a must.
  • Ability to interact with members, their guests, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods
  • At least one year of bartender experience
  • Must complete the TIPS training

  • Bartenders must be 21 years of age to mix drinks containing spirits. 
  • Capable of lifting up to twenty five (25) pounds or more.
  • Capable of standing and maneuvering independently and safely around work area.
  • Capable of standing on for a length of eight hours or more.
  • Ability to see and hear, or to use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that position requirements can be fully met.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Sound mental and physical health: ability to get along well with others, to demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and interest in people.
  • Must be able to inspire teamwork among banquet personnel and work well with a diverse group of employees.
  • Subject to moderate physical and emotional stress associated with food/beverage service. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
