Overview: The Sales Administrator receives and processes sale orders online, or via phone and email. This position will check the accuracy of orders and maintain sales records, and compile monthly sales reports. This position will be responsible for managing the “Stand By” schedule of overbooked installations (to compensate for failed installs), rescheduling customers that we cannot complete each day. They may also be required to liaise with other departments, and research new product lines. 

Schedule: Monday-Wednesday & Friday: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM / Thursday: Off / Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

Job Status: Non-Exempt


  • Receive and process sales orders from third party sales teams (Legacy Marketing & Sales)
  • Verify orders including customers’ personal information and payment details
  • Contact customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information.
  • Contact customers about scheduling or rescheduling appointments.
  • Audit and correct accounts in Sonar to proper groups, categories and classifications.
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Compile monthly sales reports
  • Expedite orders through internal liaison
  • Direct feedback from customers to relevant departments
  • Perform dispatch related duties such as proactively rescheduling incomplete installations in the stand-by queue.


● High School Diploma or equivalent

● Previous experience in sales administration or a similar role preferred

● Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills

● Experience in industry software such as Sonar, Vetro and HubSpot

● Knowledge of administrative record keeping

● Familiarity with sales reports and sales records

● Proficiency with Google Docs and Google Sheets

● Excellent written and verbal skills
