President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position

Rainbow Hospice Care, an independent, non-profit hospice servicing South Central Wisconsin, is seeking a tenured healthcare executive to assume the role of President/Chief Executive Officer.  The CEO will work directly with senior management to create a vision, set a corporate strategy, and support a wide range of critical service priorities. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this role will lead and manage the strategic direction of the Organization. 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of business acumen and will be able to see the “big picture” in a variety of settings.  This inspirational leader will continue to foster the culture of excellence, teamwork and kindness, where staff and volunteers flourish.  Role responsibilities will encompass all aspects of executive leadership, such as:

• Oversight of the program and services
• Compliance; Enforcement of legal and regulatory guidelines
• Strategic planning and direction
• Financial management
• Operations
• Development and maintenance of key relationships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced degree preferred. 
• Non-Profit healthcare management experience highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin state health care laws required.
• A minimum of three years of senior leadership in healthcare experience is required.
• Hospice experience is highly desirable. 
• Demonstrated service excellence skills.
