The Northbrook Park District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Program Site Director. This position is responsible for the day to day planning and oversight of one Adventure Campus site and related staff and participants, acts as a Camp Site Director in the summer, and leads programs during school breaks and days off. The Program Site Director position is year-round and includes benefits! Working 30+ hours per week the Program Supervisor is eligible for medical insurance, IMRF retirement benefits and paid time off. Plus, WEEKENDS FREE!

Pay & Hours

• Starting Rate: $20+ per hour.
• During the school year, qualified applicants must be available Monday through Friday for before school care and after school care. Shift time for before school care is 6:45am-8:30am. Shift time for after school care is 2:45pm-6pm.
• During summer day camp hours will be approximately 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. 
• School Breaks and School Day Off Program hours will vary based on need; typically, 8:30am-3:30pm.

Duties & Responsibilities

Plan and implement daily activities for children. Daily activities include themed arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games and other enriching play. Supervise counselors and communicate with school personnel and parents on a regular basis. Program Supervisors also implement and ensure safety guidelines are being followed.

Must have 2 years of experience working with children. Enrollment in, or completion of, a college degree in education, recreation or related field is highly desirable.
