The Sawdust Art Festival is a non-profit organization located on a 2.5-acre historic eucalyptus grove in beautiful Laguna Beach. For more than 50 years the Sawdust Art Festival has been delivering on its mission to provide art education to the public and promote local artists. Our summer and winter festivals are home to nearly 150+ artists and attract more than 200,000 visitors each year.
Daily Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the schedule set forth by the Supervisor and execute the duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Interact directly with customers and Festival artists using excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be alert and attentive to people needing assistance.
- Be alert and attentive to people acting suspiciously, intoxicated, or snooping in booths and off-limits areas.
- Monitor admittance at main gate, and control limited access to back gate.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Engage with each patron directly, giving each the attention they deserve, and making them feel welcome while working to meet their needs quickly and efficiently.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) governing operations.
- Maintain a pleasant work environment for customers and colleagues.
- Work towards continuous optimization of operations by providing Supervisor and management with timely feedback.
- Play the role of brand ambassador of the Sawdust Festival.
Pay Range
$16.00 to $18.00 per hour
