Position: Success Center Director

Description and Requirements

Job Purpose: Duties and responsibilities are performed under the supervision and direction of the General Manager. Responsible for overseeing the Success Center Tutoring program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervising the Success Center and monitoring patrons during open hours
• Providing academic support for students K-12
• Managing/overseeing staff and/or volunteer tutors for the Success Center
• Support the continued development of the Success Center, such as engaging in any outreach initiatives with partners (other external programs and schools)/maintaining relationships with partners
• Maintaining the cleanliness required for the upkeep of the Success Center (wiping down desks, keyboards, etc.)
• Any other duties as assigned

• Must be able to work weekdays (M-Th, 2:30pm-6:30pm)
• College degree or equivalent job experience
• Knowledgeable in the use of computers, Wi-Fi, standard office computer programs, and a variety of educational programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects (K-12)
• Previous teaching or relevant tutoring experience
• Reliable transportation

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a standard office environment.

Physical Requirements:

This position can involve sitting, standing, walking, running, stooping, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
