Description
St. Mary Catholic Virtue School in LIttleton, Colorado is seeking a part-time reading intervention teacher. We are a Preschool-8th grade school with an enrollment of 490 students. Individualized reading intervention instruction for small-groups

Identification of students in need of intervention

Response to Intervention implementation

Progress monitoring

Benchmark administration

Parent communication

Orton-Gillingham training

Case manager for students with special needs and students requiring reading intervention

On-going student assessment and evaluation

Collaborating with regular classroom teachers to support students identified as special needs

Addressing teacher and parent concerns for students with qualifying diagnostic evidence
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaches students for the purpose of ensuring successful progress towards grade-level reading benchmarks

Consults and collaborates with parents and staff for the purpose of ensuring appropriate delivery of services

Schedules sessions for students for the purpose of delivering regular literacy intervention
