The Group Director, Project Management oversees the project management team and all department deliverables. With an understanding of multi-channel marketing, the Group Director, Project Management collaborates and works with all departments to effectively plan, scope, assign resources to produce all client and agency initiatives.
This role will work closely with all department leads to implement and ensure required processes are followed and identify areas for optimization and improvements. The mission is to manage and produce the highest-quality client deliverables by monitoring overall project operations for time and resource efficiencies, cost management and accuracy.
Responsibilities include:
Lead, train, develop and motivate project management team members
Provide Project Management team with support and guidance in resource management, schedule development, cost control, and other project management responsibilities where necessary
Effectively forecast and manage resources and guide workflows across a nation-wide workforce of virtual staff, contract staff and other resources
With direct communication, act as the “air traffic controller” to identify capacity, with appropriate skill-sets to effectively allocate resources across the agency.
Assemble quick teams to deliver immediate response to new business opportunities.
Act as Translator between the Account Team, Digital Team, Project Management to define the objective and ask the appropriate questions to scope and produce the work.
Ability to collaborate, problem-solve and develop productive working relationships at all levels in the organization.
Using demonstrated experience, scope, estimate, assign appropriate resources to execute multichannel marketing efforts
Full project management oversight - provide current reporting on all project statuses, risks, and roadblocks to internal teams and leadership
Using the defined quality assurance processes, ensures all work is accurate and approved by key stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
Verifying all project deliverables are clearly defined in both internal and external documentation to ensure project success.
Establishing and frequently evaluating internal standards, processes and tools used for effective project delivery
Utilize technology skills to effectively optimize processes using WebVantage capabilities and other tools agency-wide.
