One Line Job Description

The Outreach Administrative Assistant effectively utilizes organizational, communication and collaboration skills to assist and support the Outreach Team with administrative tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist the Outreach Pastor to be efficient in all areas of their responsibilities
  • Coordinate details for meetings, classes, or events (on or off campus) hosted by the Outreach Pastor, including room reservations, registrations, materials, communication with participants, and requesting advertisement
  • Prep materials, set up and man tables, decorate, and connect with leaders for weekend events
  • Attend meetings, take notes, and do follow-up as requested or needed
  • Create, request and manage communications coverage, including social media
  • Track and request financial reports, ministry reports, and prayer requests from partners/advocates
  • Assist the Outreach Pastor with research and details for other community/Kingdom special events and projects as needed

Other Duties

  • Prepare monthly credit card expense reports for team members
  • Prepare purchase orders and check requests as needed
  • Prepare needed reports and correspondence
  • Work assigned duties during All Hands On Deck events such as Christmas and Easter services
  • Help form and maintain connections with community and global partners
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Actively involved at Pantano Christian Church
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work productively without direct supervision
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with team members, volunteers, and other staff
  • Excellent office-related computer skills, including experience with common office software/programs and online applications
  • Proficiency in online communication, email and calendar tools
  • Experience with Mac and macOS a plus
  • Experience with Google Drive a plus
  • Experience with Canva, MailChimp and database software a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel a plus
