Shipping Yard Man

LIST OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Must be able to hook and unhook trailers 10 – 15 times per 8-hour shift.
• Must be able drive a fork or clamp truck to load/unload skids or roll goods from box trailers and place/stack in trailer or designated warehouse location.
• Must be able to make out shipping documents for interplant moves (shipping and receiving).
• Load mill sludge into dump trailer using backhoe and drive dump truck to recycling facility
• Move tractor trailer rigs between Seaman Paper warehouses and the mill site.
• Routine housekeeping of truck trailers, docks and warehouse areas
• 6 day Work week week schedule. 1.5x on Saturday and 2x rate on Sunday 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
• Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical Certificate.
• MA Hoisting License Class 2B for backhoe and front loader operation within 60 days.
• Clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Perform lifting of up to sixty pounds. Subject to DOT random drug/alcohol screening program.
