We are currently searching for a DC Operations Trainer for our Peru, IL distribution center. The DC Operations Trainer position is a year-round position dedicated to training new associates. This position will provide training to all new temporary and full-time warehouse employees, providing mentorship on job-specific tasks and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have interest and experience helping others to learn and follow a process, and the ability to communicate well with internal teams, lead employees, and possess a desire to pass on knowledge of Flat River Group processes and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform on-the-job training to ensure new staff is qualified for their positions.

Inform new staff about company policies and procedures.

Provide training for those working within specific departments.

Communicate any issues or concerns with the department Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Maintain communication with the DC Manager, reporting directly to them.

Collaborate with, and have a dotted line reporting relationship to, the Learning & Development Manager.
