JOB SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for operating document imaging equipment & system software settings to accurately scan a high volume of pages to create electronic files for archives.  Additionally, electronic files are also imported from network folders or emails for company retention purposes.   

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare, scan & import all files and documents as presented from all departments throughout the bank.
  • Verify quality of digital images scanned and imported.
  • Index and store images according to organization guidelines
  • Check scanning specifications for accuracy and quality requirements.
  • Set scanner parameters as identified for each job to ensure accurate handling of documents.
  • Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, team members and employees.
  • Work closely with senior personnel in the functional area.
  • Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Follow the direction of supervisor.
  • Follow organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Back up and assist Item Processing Techs as needed, to include processing incoming/outgoing electronic transaction files, balancing, daily item processing, operating mail machines & document insert equipment. 
  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bookkeeping clerical experience including filing, letter writing, etc.
  • Proficient computer skills with experience in Windows Applications, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe PDF, 10 key, and typing skills.
  • Experience with core software, Xperience and Synergy a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

  • Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment.
