Position Title:             HelpDesk Administrator, Level 1  

Department:             IT Support

Reports To:               Director of Infrastructure Operations

Job Type:                  Full-time, Hourly

FLSA Status:             Non-Exempt

 

Overview:  The role of the Help Desk Administrator is to handle system support activities.  This person is responsible for providing an excellent client experience and working to resolve support issues in a prompt and professional manner.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup new hires, provision access and equipment.
  • Reset passwords
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
  • Follow-up with users to ensure issues have been resolved
  • Assist with company-wide software rollouts

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience using a ticketing system
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

 

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma – some college is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory)

Vision:

See in the normal vision range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents.

Hearing:

Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without corrections.
