Job Description

Firespring is looking for an individual who can work at a methodical pace and maintain a strong focus while using deadlines to help prioritize the day and stick to the tasks at hand. Our ideal candidate is task-driven, detail-oriented, punctual and conscientious and enjoys checking for accuracy. We’re also looking for a true team player who’s willing to go above and beyond to help his or her team members out.

Key components of the job will be operating:

• Bindery and/or mailing functions
• High speed folders
• Programmable cutters
• Gluing equipment
• Collators
• Mailing machine inserters
• High speed inkjet printers

A typical day includes: 

• Setting up and producing finished products utilizing mechanical and electronic equipment available, following mailing regulations and standards. 

• Making jobs run at maximum efficiency by utilizing the correct equipment and maintaining highest quality.

• Loading and unloading equipment regularly, and being on your feet up to an 8 hour shift.

• Troubleshooting equipment and production problems to ensure proper standards are maintained.

• Following maintenance plans and making light repairs when necessary.
