Requirements

Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or comparable experience.

Ability to read schematics and visually identify electronic components.

Demonstrated experience with surface mount device (SMD) assembly/removal/reinstallation (0402 or smaller; lead pitches of 0.5mm or smaller).

Demonstrated experience with through-hole device assembly/removal/reinstallation.

Demonstrated experience with dual-sided PCB assembly and repair.

Demonstrated experience with cable harness assembly and repair.

Demonstrated experience with hand soldering, hot-air soldering, and reflow soldering.

Demonstrated experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, function generators, etc.
Preferred Experience

Certification to standards such as J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, or IPC-7711B

Experience with Altium, LabView, and/or other electrical engineering software tools.

Experience developing test fixtures and circuitry for PCB and system testability.

Familiarity working with multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting environment.
