The Role

Gotham Greens is seeking a Demand Planner to work cross-functionally and use analytical, marketing, and sales data to effectively estimate future product demands. As the Demand Planner, you will plan inventory flow, analyze statistical data, and generate forecasting solutions to drive the company forward through an exciting period of growth. This role will report to the Director of Supply Chain.

What Youll Do

  • Develop SKU level/ key account forecasts as part of weekly & monthly planning cycle and ensure demand reasonability across portfolio (region and crop mix).

  • Assist planning leads to build and prepare for monthly planning cycle meetings including Sales and Production specific reviews.

  • Manage building blocks and understanding of key growth drivers and analyzing performance vs. plan, last cycle and prior year.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to develop accurate SKU level forecast for short & long-term planning.

  • Collaboration with Operations to ensure understanding of forecast and advise on future purchase orders.

  • Partner with Sales to analyze and manage retail sales reports (POS) to provide category performance analysis to drive decision-making across the business.

  • Managing identifying and reporting crop & finished goods longs to reduce impact of food waste within the supply chain as a part of the demand management reviews.

  • Track and monitor key customer launches and/or promo POs and shipments to ensure fill rate and delivery dates are met.

  • Develop forecasting process and tools within excel and future state systems to align Gotham Greens with top industry practices.

  • Assist sales and marketing in assortment analysis for prospective business opportunities.



Who You Are

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, or equivalent.

  • 5-8 years of experience in demand planning.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and attention to details.

  • Strong problem solver who identifies improvement opportunities and implements sustainable solutions.

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when needed.

  • Knowledge of Tableau, and a forecasting model tool (e.g. SAP, Logility, Sage, etc) preferred.

  • Experience with Power Pivot and Power Query a plus.

  • Experience working with a nationwide retailers a plus.
