Description

Kelco Industries currently has an immediate opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as an CNC Operator. Successful candidates will be self-starters, reliable, dependable, well-organized, demonstrate on time attendance, and who can work assigned hours and overtime as needed.

 

General Description:

In the Industrial establishment, this employee will set-up and operate computer-controlled machines.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Follow instructions as trained.
  • Make sure calibration stickers are up to date on any measuring devices or equipment used.
  • Completes required documentation in a neat and timely manner.
  • Keeps work area, machines, and tooling clean to WCT standards. Some light maintenance tasks on machinery as required.
  • Performs offset changes to meet print specifications.

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and understand prints.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematics, basic algebra and geometry.
  • Safely sets up and operates machine, which includes loading and unloading materials in machine.
  • Able to use measuring instruments to meet print specifications.
  • Use of Proper PPE as required by Company Policy.
  • Maintain good attendance and able to work weekends as needed.
  • Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Education:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
