Provides administrative support and assistance in the daily functions for the Hospice of Laurens County office.

Essential Duties:

  • Maintains a patient database system which includes but limited to initial patient data entry, maintenance of database, and preparation of statistical data and report generation.
  • Enters data with less than 5% error rate.
  • Maintains admissions referral records. Copies, files, faxes as required.
  • Drafts, prepares, distributes and/or follows up on various correspondences, reports and/or key dynamics
  • Troubleshoots and maintains office equipment.
  • Assists with providing medical information as requested by clinical staff or Manager.
  • Provides administrative support to other staff members as needed.
  • 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

High School diploma plus training/certification in related field required. Associates Degree preferred.

Minimum of two years of related experience in an office environment, preferably in a health care facility/setting. Experience supporting executives beneficial.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred, typing proficiency required
