JOB SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for reviewing all loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies and procedures; federal and state banking regulations; and other related bank programs.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Utilize Excel Spreadsheet to review all new loans to ensure documents comply with federal and state lending regulations; and adhere to the Banks Lending and Underwriting Procedures
  • Review documentation of new loans to verify all required documents have been obtained and they have been completed accurately
  • Maintain all Bank employee loan files and provide information upon request to designated team members
  • Work closely with the Loan Risk Documentation Specialist to identify areas where additional training may be needed
  • Assist and provide back-up support for other Loan Risk Team Members in other related duties as needed, including, but not limited to, Flood Certifications, Beneficial Ownership Documentation, and Safe Act requirements
  • Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards
  • Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and internal customers
  • Follow the directions of Loan Risk Documentation Specialist and supervisor

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.


 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

 

  • High School Education required and previous banking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications, 10 key, keyboarding skills, and Xperience
  • Ability to learn Loan Operating Software, such as Laser Pro and Decision Pro.
  • Clerical, administrative and customers service skills required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

  • Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Frequent lifting (up to 10 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment.
