- Minimum three years, preferred five to seven years, of successful experience in managing fund development programs.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and solicit major gifts of $5K+
- Clear and comprehensive understanding of best practices in donorcentric fundraising and moves management.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to develop effective engagement and solicitation strategies for a diverse group of individual donors.
- Knowledge of best practices in donor stewardship and experience in developing highimpact, cost effective stewardship approaches.
- Excellent relationshipbuilding skills and the ability to understand the needs and interests of donors. Welldeveloped listening skills and the desire to hear people’s stories.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing about the impact of Encompass on the lives of children and families.
- Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and complete projects on time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree combined with three to seven years professional experience in field.
- Certified Fundraising Executive Certification
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSES
- Current Washington State Driver’s License
