Health Informatics Specialist

The Health Informatics Specialist provides support to all staff utilizing the Cerner Electronic Health Record. Works collaboratively with department Directors and Managers to improve workflow efficiency within the EHR. Performs software testing and validation across both clinical and revenue cycle solutions. Assists patients with establishing and troubleshooting patient portal accounts. Submits and manages Cerner service requests. Monitors uCern and reports domain-wide issues and subsequent resolutions to end users. Provides approved end users with access to CORHIO Patient Care 360 and provides support to end users utilizing this portal. Assists in providing and analyzing data by running, validating and troubleshooting clinical and revenue cycle reports.

• Education/Experience Requirements: Preferred associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, computer sciences or a related field.
• Special Skills, Licenses or Certifications: Must have experience working in the healthcare field. Must have knowledge of electronic health records systems. Prefer experience as a Cerner CommunityWorks end user. Basic computer knowledge. BLS/CPR.
• Compensation Range: $18.00 - $25.25 hourly, based on relevant years of experience.
• Starting Work Bonus: Applicants are eligible for a starting work bonus of 5%! Must be hired into a full time position. Part-time or PRN positions are not eligible.
